Zhong Yuen Jie 2008

It's the first day of the 7th Lunar Month, also known as the Hungry Ghost Festival in the Chinese Calendar. Surprisingly, there was a prayer session at my workplace with our 'Ang Moh' big boss leading the session. I couldn't believe my eyes when our Indian colleagues teaching and guiding him too. Like it or not, I joined in to pray for the safety of everybody there. Towards the end, something bad happened. A motorcycle skidded at our entrance, somewhere near our prayer's table. Luckily, it's a blessing that this McDonald delivery boy suffered slight bruise only. We proceeded with the prayer session and returned to work when it ended.

For those not in the know, the 7th day of the 7th Lunar Month is the Chinese Valentine Day. And on the 8th day this year, don't forget the Olympics at Beijing and the S$8 million Toto draw. On the 9th day is Singapore National Day. Dare you say everything during this festival is BAD? Huat Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you afraid of the dark????????
