Quiet
I have been having dinner with my wife lately. Nothing strange. It's just that my job needs me to stay back often. So, having a dinner together with Margaret is a luxury. After all these years, she must have used to it. A wonderful wife for a hard working husband. Haha... self praise is international disgrace. LOL.
Ok, let's move on. Another weekend to go before Christmas 2012. Our home is pretty quiet for Fyn is away in India and Smily, hardly returns home early. Margaret is feeling the loneliness or quietness of life without children. This is life. Sooner or later, our children will leave us to set out their own family. Definitely, we will try to work as long as we can. To retire early and doing nothing is a no-no. With the money earned, we can look forward to our holiday abroad annually.

Another graduate in my family
Congratulation to my neice Kate Ng on her graduation in US. I bet my late parents are proud of her achievement and smiling all day up there. Three cheers to my 3rd brother Francis Ng and sister-in-law too. Gong xi gong xi!!!!
Here she goes! Fyn has just boarded the plane to Bangalore and will be back in January 2013 next year. She is doing charity work at the Bangalore Children's Home. Take care and bon voyage!!!

My children today
I have accepted that both my children do not need me to worry for them anymore. And I am not going to worry for them either. For good or for bad, they decide what they doing. They should know what is best for them.
Whatever is happening to them, Margaret is the one who keep me updated. For my son, I believe he is working very hard on his job. He would open our bedroom door and call us whatever he reach home. After which this well-mannered son would return to his room.
My daughter has officially completed her study. She is leaving for some charity work in Bangalore India tomorrow. I understand she is also travelling to Taj Mahal after that. Honestly, I do not know when she is coming back. Like my son, we hardly talk. Anyway, she has invited me and Margaret for tomorrow breakfast.
Guess children are always closest to their mother. So long as they are healthy and happy, nothing else matter to me. As a father, no news is good news. Happy holidays!

Patrick abdominal pain
They said lightning don't strike at the same place twice, right? Omg! I have 2 brothers in the hospital now. That is Thomas as mentioned in my earlier blog. Yes, and Patrick had been warded last night for abdominal pain. Doctors suspected gall stone but with all the tests done, they could not confirm. My poor younger brother has to go for further screening and test. We sincerely hope that nothing major comes out of it. Om mani padme hum.

Brother Thomas
We visited Thomas this afternoon at the Bright Vision Hospital. Yes, he is there for physiotherapy after treatment from SGH. Sadly, his Parkinson Disease started 8 years ago and since then it's getting not any better. We pray that his condition be maintained and controlled.
Thomas had been baptised recently and confirmed as a Christian. Miracles are hard to come by but you will never know. May the good Lord bless and be with him at this difficult period. May it be so.

Nearer to doomsday?
Yo! It's the last day of November 2012. Somehow time flies. Come tomorrow, we have December 2012 the last month and most celebrated period of the year. It's also scary to think that 2013 is just a month away.
Is December 21 2012 the end of the year as predicted? Or are we going to look back next year and laugh at all the hoo-ha created? One thing for sure, I am not interested in all these nonsense. But it's okay to have a little fun out of these. Let's see what excuses they'll give after the so called 'doomsday'.

Half day MC???
I surrendered. Went to the Polyclinic to consult a doctor for my flu after lunch. Prior to that, I was at work in the morning to settle an urgent matter. The doctor asked whether I need a MC or not. I requested for a half day afternoon MC and he was like 'huh'???? and blurred. Much to my surprise, he told me the clinic don't give half day MC. It's either they give a day or don't. I was not given a choice but to accept the 'one day' MC. So, remember hor..... no half day MC for Polyclinic patients.
Sadly, my sister called me yesterday to inform me that Thomas was admitted to the hospital again. It's never encouraged for a sick people to visit someone in hospital. Have to give him a miss till I recover. Meantime get well soon, Thomas!!!

Ugly
I have just erased what I had written i.e. the ugly side of friends especially those I came to know recently. After thinking twice or thrice, I shall honor what I set out in the first place... not to insult or write anything bad about anyone. What some of these people do is beyond ..... I am never disappointed but surprise that these species exist. Om... to each his own and let's live and let live.
I am down with flu and it's just the beginning. Have not consult a doctor and allow my body to fight the virus. Anyway, I have a medical appointment at the Polyclinic this Friday. Should I get worse by then, it going to be medical leave. Gosh! I rather be healthy.
