iPod roadshow @ wisma atria
Breakdancing @ iPod roadshow Wisma Atria
Fyn wanted an iPod Touch which cost S$498 at their roadshow. It came with a free JBL headset which cost S$90+. Since she did not have enough from her saving, we decided to chip in. Much to our surprise, those iPod sets sold like hotcakes. When we reached there last evening, they were sold out. Fyn got to register her name at the counter so as to allow them to call her when the new shipment arrives. iPod Touch rockzzz........

Something missing....
I am trying very hard to adapt to my new environment. How I miss all of you especially the Hong Hiao group, SII Shimizu group, St Francis Convent group, etc. Though we were of different characters and background, we respected each other because of our honesty and sincerity. Chow, do you remember we were always looking for those with horns on their head? Btw, how's that 'High Class Boast' doing? Lee Hoon, if you are reading this, "IF I HAVE A CHOICE ......" Haha! Guess that '3rd young master' is still very comfortable there. I am pretty tired now. Would keep all of you updated should I have the chance to attend your gatherings in the near future. Cheers!

Karung Guni......
Just sold 70 over kg of old newspaper and books to the karung guni uncle this morning. I was surprised when he gave me $7.30. I wasn't aware that paper can fetch such good money. Besides, I believe this Mr Eng is a decent man. For those living in Toa Payoh, why not give him a ring during the weekend to clear your old newspaper, radios, television, computer, etc. His mobile is 9789 7647.
My idol, Giorgio Armani.

Gunners misfire.....
It's goodbye to European football for Arsenal. Kaput! They lost to Liverpool 4-2 this morning. It does not look good for them in the domestic front either. Well, they gave their best and will continue to do so. Gunners rock!
This picture was taken at Zhangzhou night market. Margaret tried to coax that liitle girl for the camera but she refused to acknowledge. She was simply too engrossed with the goldfish.

Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Chaozhou and Shantou Pt 5
15 Mar 2008
Xiamen
The trip from Chaozhou back to Xiamen took about 3 hours. Below were the places we visited for the day.
Bao Sheng Da Ti Temple
To reach the Bao Sheng Da Ti statue at the top of the hill, we had to climb 800 steps.
The temple at the foot of the hill.
Bao Sheng Da Ti, a Taoist deity known for curing sickness. He practised his medicine here.
Xiamen Park
This statue symbolised Mother China asking and guiding the Child Taiwan home.
Xiamen Night Lights
Jimei University. The late Tan Kah Kee came from this Jimei Village and had funded the building of this university.
We stayed at Jimei University Hotel for the night.

New colleague/ Qingming Festival
My new colleague, Senthi, was surprised when I revealed my blog to him. Guess it's beyond his imagination that I am a blogger. Worst, the shock of his life came when I showed him my January blog 'Thaipusam 2008'. Anyway, 'Welcome, welcome, welcome!' and thanks for the compliments.
The Qingming Festival of ancestor worship falls on 4 April 2008 this year. During this period (10 days before and after the actual day), the Chinese commenmorates the festival by sweeping the graves of forebears and give thanks for their blessing. We will be going to pay our respect to our ancestors and late father tomorrow morning.
